There are five- and seven-course options at the modern Indian restaurant

Fine-dining Indian restaurant Atrangi by Ritu Dalmia has launched a new tasting menu, designed to take diners on a ‘journey down memory lane’.

The menu aims to transport diners back to their grandmother’s kitchen, meals being served with a ‘generous dose of warmth, love and familiarity”. The kitchen will be plating up lesser-known Indian dishes with a high-end yet homely feel.

The modern Indian restaurant opened at Jumeirah Al Qasr this summer, promising a ‘unique take on traditional cuisine’.

Ritu Dalmia is known for her dedication to introducing Italian cuisine to India, and Indian cuisine to Italy and Central Europe. With six restaurants in India and three in Italy, the celebrated Indian chef now has a restaurant in Dubai – a first Middle Eastern location for the acclaimed chef.

The venue seats 96 diners. There’s an indoor area, as well as a large outdoor terrace looking over the Jumeirah Al Qasr waterways. Diners can reach the restaurant via an abra ride.

The chef’s tasting menu is available every night from 6pm until midnight and is AED440 for five courses and AED640 for seven courses. Wine and cocktail pairings are available.
