Italian restaurant Cinque, at FIVE Palm Jumeirah Dubai, is hosting a special culinary takeover this weekend.
Acclaimed chef Matteo Ferrantino of bianc, the renowned Mediterranean restaurant in Hamburg, is coming to Dubai and joining Cinque’s head chef Mauro Di Leo in the kitchen this weekend.
An exclusive four-hands dinner will take place on Saturday November 18, while on Friday November 17 there will be a special ‘culinary showcase’ by Ferrantino, for diners in Dubai to experience the chef’s skills.
Chef Ferrantino is known for his restaurant bianc, and his passion for natural, premium Mediterranean ingredients. bianc is renowned for its modern interpretation of classic Mediterranean dishes.
The menu on Friday November 17 will show off dishes from Bianc’s menu – bringing Hamburg’s top dishes to Dubai.
Meanwhile Saturday November 18, the two chefs will collaborate in the kitchen at Cinque for a one-off four hands dinner, blending the flavours of Italy and Hamburg.
Both evenings will be priced at AED650 for a six-course menu, with a wine pairing for an additional AED450.
Cinque also recently launched a chef’s table experience Cinque introduces exclusive chef’s table experience, inspired by Sicily – Gault & Millau UAE, with an 11-course menu inspired by Sicily, and Di Leo’s roots.
