The full menu being served at G&M Masters Series: Volume 1 can now be revealed.
Taking place at Dubai’s Row on 45, the event will see acclaimed British chefs Jason Atherton and Nick Alvis team up for an exclusive eight-course dinner for just 22 guests.
Each chef will cook four courses throughout the dinner at Grosvenor House, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Dubai.
The event, which is taking place tomorrow evening (Tuesday November 14) from 7pm, is AED695 per person and sold out within hours of being confirmed.
Now, we can reveal details of the food served and the wine pairing available.
The menu from Atherton and Alvis
The meal will take place in three ‘acts’, following the format of the usual Row of 45 degustation experience. Guests will begin in the lounge, before moving to the open-kitchen dining room, then finishing in the library.
Kicking off the menu is Balfego bluefin tuna and crab takoyaki, and then there’s a Welsh blue lobster course. The meal continues with brioche, rose veal and foie gras, Noirmoutier potato and caviar, and Samegarei. Guests will then be served Anjou pigeon before things turn towards the dessert, with Japanese citrus, trinity cream and petit fours.
The wine pairing
Guests will also be able to opt for a wine pairing to go with the one-off menu.
Carefully selected by the sommelier to complement the chefs’ dishes, it is AED495 and includes:

- Hatta Honey Wine
- Cantina Terlano, Quarz, Trentino Alto Adige (Italy)
- De Toren, Z, Stellenbosch (South Africa)

It is the first event in the G&M Masters Series, which will showcase unique culinary experiences in Gault&Millau-rated restaurants and with the country’s best chefs.
