Celebrating a decade of collaboration with Italian superstar chef Enrico Bartolini, Gault&Millau-rated restaurant Roberto’s in DIFC will host an exclusive five chef SAPORI, a two-night dining event. Due to overwhelming public demand, a second night has been added on November 26, as the first night (November 25) has already sold out.
The special evening will offer guests a five-course meal prepared by Bartolini and Roberto’s culinary leaders from across the GCC, a champagne pairing, and live entertainment.
As one of Italy’s most acclaimed and awarded chefs, Tuscan-born Bartolini has been instrumental in shaping Roberto’s shifting menus and esteemed identity. His philosophy blends tradition with innovation and endless experimentation to create new, bold flavours that evoke deep emotions.
The five chef SAPORI will begin in Roberto’s Cortina area, set against the glittering backdrop of the Burj Khalifa. Guests will be welcomed with an aperitivo experience featuring Cristal Brut Champagne and curated bites by Bartolini, setting the stage for a multi-course menu.
Guests will be welcomed to Piemonte for the evening’s gourmet centrepiece – a five-course dinner, with each dish accentuated by the exquisite white truffles from Albachiara. Live music from a violinist and vocalist will accompany the evening, adding a touch of sophistication to the dining experience.
Of the participating chefs alongside Bartolini, Valter Belli of Roberto’s Amman blends his Tuscan-Emilian roots with a modern approach, while Florin Resmerita from Doha brings global flavours honed under culinary greats. Giandonato Tafuri of Muscat infuses Pugliese tradition with international flair, and Danilo Valla of Dubai combines innovation with Italian authenticity.
The team will be guided by Bartolini, known for his “Contemporary Classic” style that has helped define Roberto’s cuisine’s international identity.
This unique five chef SAPORI promises a one-of-a-kind celebration of Italy’s culinary heritage, bringing the rare richness of white truffles and expertly paired wines to elevate the dining experience.
Priced at AED550 per person for the five-course dinner, the experience can be enhanced with beverage pairings, thoughtfully curated to complement each dish. Guests may choose from non-alcoholic pairings at AED725, wine pairings at AED900, or premium wine pairings at AED990.
