A new hospitality school is to open in Abu Dhabi in September 2024. It will be managed by renowned global hospitality and higher education institution Les Roches Global Hospitality.
The aim is to provide hospitality skills and academic knowledge to encourage home-grown talent from the UAE get into the industry.
Les Roches was founded in 1954 in Switzerland and the Abu Dhabi campus aims to attract Emiratis and regional talent to the hospitality industry.
The academy will provide ‘top-tier education that is authentic, uniquely Emirati and futureproof’, offering a bachelor’s degree and two master’s degrees.
There will be theory, practical and independent learning, as well as mentorship to enable students to progress into leadership roles in the industry.
The curriculum includes a range of hospitality-related and practical skills certifications, in areas such as hotel operations, travel, tourism, transport and entrepreneurship.
