Founded in 1843 by Joseph Krug and intended as a family business, the house of Krug today produces some of the world’s most prestige cuvée Champagnes.
Now owned by LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE, the maison’s library extends to 150 reserves produced in highly limited numbers. The majority of bottles are multi-vintage Grand Cuvée, with Krug’s vintage releases emerging from only the most exceptional years.
As a result, Krug has become one of the most sought-after Champagnes among oenophiles globally, with top vintages almost guaranteed to offer significant returns on the secondary market.
Despite this, four restaurants in Dubai currently hold at least one vintage Krug in their cellar. Read on for information about the venues to head for – and the prices they’re charging.
